Upcoming Concerts

Our November concerts this year feature the acclaimed A German Requiem by Brahms, written during a troubled period of the composer's life. Rather than the usual Requiem text based on the Catholic Mass for the Dead, Brahms chose selected passages from Martin Luther's German translation of the bible with themes of comforting those who mourn.

As a contrast to the themes of the Requiem we are also singing Karl Jenkins' uplifting Te Deum which is described as "a joyous, theatrical piece of music"
