Social event

After the success of last year's centenary social, a fish and chip and skittles night was booked at Durley Memorial hall in March. Around sixty members and guests enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with each other over a drink or two with food provided by The Codfather. There was intense competition in the skittle alley with the winner of each table playing off against each other with John Gwynn emerging the overall champion. Well done John! Further entertainment was provided by a fun quiz (or should I say 3 different quizzes) provided on each table. From chocolate bars to composers, people were wracking their brains to unravel anagrams and solve clues. Thank you to David and Cath for getting us thinking. Thank you too to Chris and Gill for organising the evening.
